Year 10 Summer homework

Task : To produce a mindmap (in current sketchbook) for chosen mock exam question (this work will be marked as Component 1 : Sustained project, which is worth 60% of your final grade).

LAST KS 4 ART CLUB SESSION IS WEDS 27TH JUNE!

TASK:  Ensure all post-its are acted upon. Current work needs to be complete and up-to-date by end of term due to starting new project over summer / next term.

We will not have time to produce a personal response (AO4) due to lessons missed and time remaining. We need to focus on ensuring all work is FINISHED to the BEST of your ability.

YEAR 9 - GCSE FINE ART IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Yorkshire Sculpture Park arrangements

You need to be in college on Monday 9th July at 8am for us to leave promptly at 8:10am.

You need to bring with you:

1. Packed lunch and plenty to drink
2. camera to take photos and document visit
3. Basic equipment - pencils, pencil crayons, sharpener, rubber, pen ( from your Art pack)
4. Picnic blanket to sit on - we are outside most of the day
5. Appropriate non-uniform ( no vests/ crop tops) suitable for the weather forecast -sunhat and sun-cream if sunny
6. Sensible footwear
7. A bag to carry all belongings

You will be provided with a sketchbook to work in on the day.

We will be leaving the Sculpture Park at 3pm, with village drop-offs on the way back ,returning to college by 5pm.

Summer holiday homework.

Complete tasks 1 and 2 explained on powerpoint attached. Work in A3 sketchbook. Leave first A3 page blank (on both sides). Think carefully about layout and presentation- first impressions count!! Do not leave blank pages.
